The ENGAGE online course is designed to raise youth leaders’ awareness of diversity and inclusion and their benefits to create equitable access opportunities for everyone.

The course equips youth leaders with the knowledge, skills, methodologies, and tools they need to encourage all young people to participate actively in democratic life and to promote European Union principles such as human rights, social justice, cultural diversity and inclusion.

These objectives contribute to the general objectives of the project, as the online course aims to provide youth leaders with the necessary knowledge, skills, methodologies and resources to raise awareness of the diversity and role of inclusion in Europe and motivate and stimulate young people’s active engagement in democratic life and promote European Union values related to human rights, social justice, and cultural diversity and inclusion.

Target group

Youth leaders – professionals or volunteers involved in non-formal learning, who support young people in their personal, socio-educational and professional development.

The course support youth leaders to continue their learning and professional growth at their own pace and be updated about best practices, new concerns, and innovations in youth leadership, advocacy, and civic involvement.

Accessibility

Free access online course integrated in a flexible and accessible platform. Registration is required for issuing the certificate.

Contents

The online course caters for diverse learning styles, needs and preferences comprising multimedia content (videos, podcasts, etc.), quizzes or case studies and practical activities. It is an effective tool for developing the capacity of youth leaders to increase their awareness of inclusion and diversity, encourage active participation, and promote European Union principles such as human rights, social justice, cultural diversity, and inclusion in democratic society.
